There’s a league for everyone. We have Youth leagues starting at age three, senior citizen leagues, Las Vegas leagues, scratch leagues and many more…
Q. Am I good enough to join a league? A. Most leagues are handicap leagues, which levels the playing field to decrease the amount of advantage a higher average bowler would have. Example: If you average 120, your 120 game with handicap will be 210—a 180 average bowler in the same league with handicap will have a 216. So you can see this system gives you a chance at being competitive. There are also bowling leagues for beginners that only allow lower averages.
Q. How long do I have to commit? A. We have leagues as short as 12 weeks or traditional leagues as long as 34 weeks. There are many leagues that fall somewhere in between.
Q. Do I need my own equipment (ball and shoes)? A. Fountain Bowl has shoes and balls for your use. There are also leagues you can join where you can earn equipment just by being in the league.
Bowling a league at Fountain Bowl is a great way to hang out with a group of friends from work or the neighborhood. Leagues satisfy your competitive spirit, too. Fountain Bowl has a true family atmosphere. Many of our leagues started years ago and get bigger every year. When you are in a league here, you can’t help but meet many friendly people and before you know it, you are part of the family. Fountain Bowl also hosts the ART Tournament every year as a special thank you to all our league bowlers...this is a free tournament where thousands of dollars are awarded to top finishers and almost every league bowler will qualify for it during the year.
